I need the Base to move down X amount of Pixels, once the boxes are around a certain height, from the bottom.

I have used:
Ground >> Set Y to self.Y+10 which works if I set the event using seconds, but I would rather have it set with height of the boxes.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

You can use "Compare Y" condition under Size & Postition instead of "Every X seconds".

Edit: Ok, I might have misunderstood what you meant. Can't open your capx since it uses plugins.Nimtrix2012-03-14 14:47:21

let me get this "straight" for my squish brain. You want the targetplattform to move down a certain amount of pixels when the boxes stacked on the plattform build up to a certain hight?!

...and it has to move back up, if the "tower" somehow shrinks....tumbles down?Weishaupt2012-03-14 14:46:44

You pretty much have it spot on. But it doesn't need to move back up.

Its a Tower Blocks style game.

I'm still deciding on the scoring, but it may either end up being the height of your tower, or your final score when game over appears.

Game Over could be after a certain number of lives...life losses happening when say a block is missed around 5 times, or when time runs out.

Haven't worked out details yet.

Taking it baby steps as i'm still relatively new to C2Pixiefingers2012-03-14 14:56:18

Take a look at this CAPX

For finetuning you should play around with the "stopWatch" Value, which right now is set to 100Weishaupt2012-03-15 09:26:42

Change of plan...

is there a way I will be able to go up again?

Ideally, I would like to build something like this...
