Hi there im making a side project and im having a problem with my Player.
Heres what i want:

-When i shoot (with space) i want my character to not move or stop its "Shooting animation" when i press another button.

Basically the "Ignore input" but without it stopping the shooting animation.

Ive tryed all the basic controls and combinations (I dont know advanced text input yet)

A simple way would be to add another condition to the movement controls that checks if the player is shooting or not. Amusing you are using custom controls.

event:
condition 1: keybord right arrow is down > move right
condition 2: keybord <inverted> space is down

This way when space is down the movement will not trigger.

Thank you! Worked like a charm.

And what do you mean custom controls? Is there a more simple way of doing what I'm doing?

Although I can't look at the capx right now (at work on my Mac), but I'm guessing you are coding the movements manually when you could set the player to have the behavior 8Directions and customize it from there which usually is a lot easier.
