Casino? money? who knows? but the target is the same!
  • To use this feature, navigate to C:\Program Files\Scirra\Construct and make a new folder called 'Images'

Right click on a frame in an animation and select 'Launch Explorer'

Windows explorer will launch with all your images exported as pngs, which you can drag drop into another program.

Once you are done editing them, save, and close the folder

Click yes and the images will be updated in Construct. The directory wont be cleared until you edit another image. Also, the feature is a bit experimental, and doesn't support adding additional frames.

  • This really helps... but how about a way to launch an external image editor from the internal image editor. That is where i feel im missing it the most.

Anyway... I love all these hidden features and #6 is a helpfull improvement

  • The idea you have photoshop or whatever open in the background and you just drag and drop

  • Try Construct 3

  • Fun fact: clicking 'launch explorer' in 0.99.82 crashes Construct.

  • It works fine for me.

  • Okay, now it doesn't. Strange. It was working a second ago, and all I did was add an image point to the image and now it's all crashy. I guess this needs to be tested further.

  • I have an other problem with this feature. It isn't exporting any images to the "Images" Directory. And it is not crashing here.

    I use 0.99.82 too.

  • The crash seems to happen after you try to add image points. If you just add a sprite without doing anything it works fine.

  • I have an other problem with this feature. It isn't exporting any images to the "Images" Directory. And it is not crashing here.

    I use 0.99.82 too.

Are you on Vista or Win7? If so, I've submitted the bug, the cause, and a proposed fix. Only issue is that Davo is the one the bug is assigned to...
