Hello and first, sorry for my english ;)

Problem Description & Steps to Reproduce Bug & Observed Result
  • I create an Text (with Drop Shadow) Object on any layer.
  • I set the Hotspot from Top-Left to Center.
  • When I duplicate this object in the same frame (ctrl + drag the object) the Hotspot still be centered.
  • When I duplicate this object to another frame (drag it from the Project-List) the Hotspot is Top-Left - but in the Properties-View still shown centered

Attach a Capx
No Capx, but a YouTube Link (I hope it works):

Expected Result
The Hot-Spot should be saved - also over other layouts ;)

@Cherico

As stipulated in the Bug Reporting Requirements, the .capx is a requirement, along with step by step instructions. Without these, Ashley will likely just close your report.

Please try to amend you OP and enclose a suitable smaill .capx that highlights the problem.
If your vision so exceeds your ability, then look to something closer.

There's a step-by-step instruction in my first posting, and a link to a video, where you exactly can see, whats the problem ...
But let's start from beginning and make a new try (and, as always, sorry for my english):

Problem Description
Hot-Spot of Text (Drop Shadow) Objects are not been saved, when duplicate on other layouts!

Attach a Capx
Here is a CAPX
And Here is a Link to a Video, where you can exactly seen whats the problem, without download or open a CAPX

Description of Capx
Two layouts.
In the first the Text (Drop Shadow) Object has the Hot Spot in the Center as i set in the properties.
In the second layout the Text (Drop Shadow) Object has the Hot Spot on Top-Left, but in properties it's still set to Center.

Steps to Reproduce Bug
  • I create an Text (with Drop Shadow) Object on any layer.
  • I set the Hot Spot from Top-Left to Center.
  • When I duplicate this object in the same frame (ctrl + drag the object) the Hotspot still be centered.
  • When I duplicate this object to another frame (drag it from the Project-List) the Hotspot is Top-Left - but in the Properties-View still shown centered

Observed Result
The Hot-Spot of the duplicated Objects is wrong!

Expected Result
The Hot-Spot of the duplicated Objects should be the same!

Affected Browsers
Not in Browser - it's directly in C2

"Text (Drop Shadow) Object" appears to be a third party plugin. As per the bug report guidelines, we cannot accept reports for bugs in third party plugins, please report it to the plugin developer.
