How are behaviors made?

For questions about using Classic.

How/where should I look to create a behavior?

Haven't downloaded the code.
I'm thinking of a behavior for a brawler, combining 8-direction and platform, with brawler's quirks

I know it can be done with events but it's kind of a mess and slows you down.

could we be more specific?
Actually I just want to know if they're plugins or are they in the kernel?
(I'm looking at the Wiki page for the SDK right now)

I'll get the source from CVS this weekend.

Behaviors are plugins made using the SDK you have to define it as a behavior though in the code.

Behaviors are made using the Plugin SDK, just set the flag that enables a behavior in Main.h.

No go for express edition T_T lacking ATL.
So there goes that idea.

Edit: I read about this thing called WTL, would that work? Maybe I just need the PSDK?

If you could pull this off and make a Brawler/Beat'em up behavior that would be sweet. :D
Right now I an making a that kind if game so. I understand the how much using events to achieve this can be messy.

You could see if you can use Dreamspark to get a better edition of Visual Studio.
