How Can I Make a Reversi game

Hi
I was working on a simple sample of reversi game but i couldnt find out how to create the detection in this game . The detection that realizes that enemies tokens is between yours and changes their color
Do you know any way to craete this system?

I created a barebone prototype for four-directional Reversi.

Please note:
This is a prototype, this means that it will help you find a solution for your own problem, but it isn't a complete game.
But obviously, you want to do that yourself anyways, right? Don't want to take all the fun from you ;)

I never played reversi. I hope my interpretation of the rules is correct.

Here is a simple straight forward version. Includes checking all directions and turning captured pieces.

If you intend to add an A.I. (i not gonna do that, that is like 6 months work) then everything has to happen in Arrays (or other still in C2 missing data structures)
