How capable is Construct 2?

I was thinking of starting a big project and was wondering how powerful and bug free it is compared to engines like Game Maker or Unity 2d. From what I have seen so far I much prefer it to both those engines but was wondering what the community thought about this.

They are all capable. The only thing that varies is the user's ability, and dedication.

Check out City of Amber its console quality like , Construct is a beast if you know how to use it.

@PixelPower is it actually rendered in 3d or is it just images of 3d?

The images are made in 3D then the developer uses a tool called spriter pro that takes 3D models and converts it into a 2D files so it can be used in Construct2.

@PixelPower I am making a top down shooter and i have completed all the art and am a fair way into the programming; however I am not sure if it will end up with lots of path-finding bugs that I can't fix or if it can't handle a larger game as I have looked through older forum posts and people have seemed to have problems with things like enemies merging.
