How could i speed up snow effect like this one

Get help using Construct 2

At first i want to sorry for my english ...
i want to create snow like this one:

but this working slow ... how can i make it faster
Is this possible write a plugin to C2 who working faster/better ?

Wow, that is a cool link, thanks for posting that. I can see creating something like for a snow-globe scene in a kids game or related. I'm sorry, I'm not any help as to your question, but I'm chiming in in case someone else knows the answer.

Yes its running 60 fps but if we double the snowflakes its not 60 fps, i think that its could be faster but i dont't understand how i can achieve that in construct ...

Just guess, I don't know how the bullet behaviour works in background, but maybe trying to remove it and coding some simple movement could help.
The problem here is that there are way too many snowflakes, and they're all over the windows so the redraw area is pretty big.
Can't help you

edit: also just realised that the overlapping actions are being triggered the whole time (snowflake overlaps player), adding a trigger once while true in that event helps.

Too many objects, plus the overlapping condition will create a lot of lag. I can just recommend that you make the snow just a background effect, and remove the whole collision with the ground deal

@RamPackWobble - I couldn't open yours file, i have older version of construct maybe some body know how to update steam version to newest version ? mine is 163 :/

@siatek v163 is the latest stable, to have the latest beta, you need to edit the settings for Construct 2 in Steam to allow Beta Downloads.
