How create object behind sprite

Like in topic how spawn/ create object always (100-300 pixels) behind player sprite in topdown view game?delgado2013-06-04 20:19:34

I'm pretty new to this program, but I'm assuming that you'd make sure that both the new object and the player sprite are on the same layer.

Then when you create this new object in the event sheet, set Z-order "move to bottom" action to that object.

If you are making these instances in the layout view, then Construct 2 is a bit lacking. You'll have to set the Z-order "move to bottom" to all instances of those object in the on start of layout event.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

The easiest way will be to define a image point for the player, Image points can be over the borders of the image, When it is defined, you just have to spawn the object at this image point

Maybe System: Create one object at position:

X= Player.X+ the_distance*cos(Player.angle-180)
Y= Player.Y+ the_distance*sin(Player.angle-180)
