I found Scirra after finishing the iconoclasts demo, looking for more on Konjak's blog. If I remember well, he was stating his lack of programming skills and the fact that he could only use Construct. I thought that was already quite good (more that I could hope for at that moment) and that I could give it a try, Google showed me the way ^^ sved2011-07-04 17:22:50

After massive brain damage caused by mmf2 i start looking for some alternatives and I'm in 80-90% sure i have checked all available free and paid game engines at that time. Then accidentally found a post on some forum (can't remember which one) about some guy complaining how buggy Construct is . You know the rest, google -> scirra -> consruct -> download :Dshinkan2011-07-04 17:32:13

I was frustrated with MMF and looking for alternatives to it, trying tons of different pieces of game development software. I first heard about construct when I found a discussion about it on a forum.Arima2011-07-04 17:45:02

SpaceSimCenter forum. Darkone, the admin of that portal suggested Construct to me after i was so disapointed with my previous engine and its limitations.

Instead of MMF2 (Never used it) I was fed up with Game Maker. Too confusing for me, and the community (YoYoGames) weren't friendly at all. I just tolerated it and tried making my first game, Pulse's Antivirus.
I found Construct a little later off of some site called Pixelprospector, showing games that were made in it. I saw like 2, but overall I wasn't too impressed, until I saw The Iconoclasts demo. So I learned about it further, and I'm already like 30% done with my first game! Whee!

I was having an itch to make a game for myself, on something other than an old pirated copy of RPGmaker (which was the last time I tried to make a game, back when I was 13 or so, lol).

An indie game-maker I know on another forum and am friends with suggested a good deal of game-maker programs for me to try out.

He suggested several programs, and then said something like "blah blah blah Multimedia Fusion, which I use. There's also Construct, which does all that but is free"

And I'm like 'HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I LIKE THE SOUNDS OF DAT'
A google search later and voile.
