How do I add a smoke trail?

lets say I have a missile, Player as example,

I then want to add a smoke trail behind the object

I tried this but it didn't work as planned, it just spammed the object over and over.

I would like the smoke to spawn every X second (so it don't get spammed over and over), but i'm not sure how to complete this

So like this

Player moves -> Smoke / dust comes where the shoes are, goes upwards for a few milliseconds then it goes away, but I have no idea how I can accomplish this.

I tried "Every x second" -> Hero (On floor does not exist, so I went with the option above)

Sadly there was no "text" to help, only .capx from 2011 that don't exist anymore
