How do I Add my own custom template/example to "New"?

Get help using Construct 2

Hi everyone,

I know this sounds silly, but I just made a personal template You can check it out https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6999242/C2_Template.zip

It has a few requirements (LiteTween and SpriteFont+) but yea thought was that it would be nice to have this come up when i select a new project.. is there a file somewhere in C2 that can be modified to display it?

This is obviously just for fun, since I could just file/open.. :)

Thanks
Caleb

If your vision so exceeds your ability, then look to something closer.

oh awesome, i never think to search the tutorials... i forget there are a LOT of them out there. I try the forums and if I don't find something here I tend to post.

Thanks!

One thing to remember. File startdlg.xml resets every time you install new beta or stable release. So you need to add your templates to that file every time you install new C2 version.
