How do I 'bouncy' UI elements

Get help using Construct 2

In Stepmania, the UI elements 'bounce' as the come on the screen. You can see it in the first few secs of this video:

Is this pre-animated or built into the software?
How could I do that in C2?

Or you can do it smoother than that using the SIne behaviour, and it means you don't have to animate everything! Like this: http://mikelaraman.com/misc/bouncy%20with%20sine.capx

All of those look pretty static (well, I can't see the last one).

Is there no way to decay the spring motion?
