How do I change tiled background during a game

Hi,
I want to change my tiled backbground image every X sec/Points.
How can I do that?
First tried to load a couple of tiled backgrounds and play around with its visability, but things when wrong.
Any other Ideas?

Hi @uzet1 Could you use a sprite? I know they're not as good for backgrounds but would they be better in this situation.

could you not use a global var.

something like system; every x sec's set global var to (1). . . . .
compare global var = (1) create object tiledbackground at x.x.x
= (2) create object (different) tiledbackground at x.x.x


you would need to load all backgrounds into layout then use "not on screen" to destroy ones not yet being used.
and dont forget to destroy the replaced one.
