How do I clear big amounts of tiles in a tilemap ?

Get help using Construct 2

I manage a big level quite good with tilemap.

Now I want to make a new level.

But when I drag the "my-tilemap" object, it already has all the content of level 1.

I want to clear the tilemap, but I can only do it 1 tile per 1 tile ! That will take ages.
There's an object to fill with a selection square, but I can't find one for erasing.

Am I missing something ? Is there a way to achieve it ?

Otherwise I'll have to make a new tilemap with the same image, and replace all events related to the original tilemap ?

one stupid workaround I use is to load/import a blank tmx map data. But yea, I don't know how to do it any other way, which is annoying.

Thanks.

The best will be to know the weakness, and keep a blank copy of each tilemap in a corner I guess.

I can not try it our right now, but isn't this newly added feature solves the problem?

"The ability to hold shift and drag the right mouse button over a tilemap to select a patch of tiles"

Thanks @borgi, I have r212.2 64bits, I tried w/ all the tools and all shift keys, I can't find any way to make this working. If someone confirm we should post it as a bug maybe ....
