How do I Compare Real Time?

Get help using Construct 2

I am wondering how would anyone compare real time - not system time counting ticks, but the time the device being used.
This is an example of what I mean:

The time is 1:23 AM. Since this before sunrise (7 AM) and after sunset (7 PM) I want text to goodnight.

So I want to compare real time without any use of multiplayer (I don't use that plugin so I'm not sure if it compares time, so don't blame me).

Is this possible?

I use rex's date plugin. Comes with some example .capx including one for comparing system time.

Does this apply for real time though?

It applies to real time as far as the system clock is matched to real time. It uses the system clock to determine the date and time.
