Hi guys,

I read from the manual about the Timer behaviour: https://www.scirra.com/manual/167/timer

I would like to create a simple button that once pressed display a timer (think something similar to a music player) How do I do that?

Thanks!

Thanks, very nice tutorial, I didnt notice there was also the capx file to download!

I manage to use the "time" system expression, how do I reset it when I change layout? (despite I reset the layout once I go back the time is still counting)

You can't alter the time system expression, that's why you should be using the timer behaviour, or at least keep track of the time 'On start of layout' and subtract that from the current time.
