How do I create a fire reflection on a wall

My game's concept takes place on a cave wall that is lit up by a torch. You never see the torch, only the effect the torch has on the cave wall. I've seen several fire examples, but even those don't look to have lighting effects in the background. Can someone point me in the right direction to use particles or something to create this effect?

are you wanting shadows? (sounds like a Plato story I heard a long time ago)...

there was a tutorial not long ago that had some pretty cool lighting effects. It includes torches that you see, but I bet it would help give you a place to start...

Much appreciated AllanR. That led me to the pulse effect which after some trial and error got me exactly what I wanted. That's actually a really awesome video on how to do several things, I'm surprised it doesn't have more likes/saves here.
