How do I create a responsive UI

Get help using Construct 2

Hi everyone

Has anyone in here succeeded in creating a truly responsive UI, where things like a menu always has the same position and size in the window, and the canvas or background always has the height and width of the resized app window?

I would really love to see an example or hear some ideas. I am finding it difficult to produce anything that looks and feels smooth and responsive.

Looking forward to hearing some ideas, will try and create an example CAPX of my best attempts.

Possible solution found:

viewtopic.php?t=68419&start=0

Will check that example later.

It is, but it doesn't address adapting to resizing of the window etc.

The link I posted earlier doesn't have a working CAPX. So that was a bust, sounded like they had nailed it.

I'm not sure I follow you... it is using layouts and layers, which scales using your flavor of selection. As long as you keep it 1080p 16:9 I don't see the problem.
