How do I create a solid object/ground for all objects?

Get help using Construct 2

Hi All, i've got a number of sprite objects with Physics behavior. I have another sprite object positioned as the ground with a solid behavior. Some objects in the layer collide and rest on the ground as they should while others pass right through it.

1. What is likely causing some of the objects to pass through my 'solid' ground?
2. What is the relationship between Layers, Zindex and collisions?

** edit ** i just realized that the object that is not falling through the ground has the platform behavior while the one's that are falling through the ground have only the physics behavior. Questions still stand. Thanks!

If you want to use physics, give the behavior physics to the ground too, and set the parameter immovable to true.

It should do the trick.
