Hi Scirra people!

Im creating a Facebook game, and i want to create a timer in the game that counts even when the game is not open. Is this possible?

Why do i need it?
- when a player runs out of lives, i want them to wait 5 minutes before they can play. Or they have to request lives from other players.

Any help is much apreciated!

I wonder if you could capture the actual time and store it as a variable. Then compare the real time with real time + 5 minutes.
