How do I create an animated laser border?

Get help using Construct 2

There's basically two ways for me to approach it: animated tilesets, which I don't know how to do (found a tutorial for animated tilesets). Or simpy snap to grid manually animated sprites (too demanding on memory?)

Thoughts?

I would just do sprite animated and go what ever you like now id like to ask why do you need such ? and you could just make one Lazer sprite animated it and then copy n paste three more and have it on the border. It shouldnt eat up that much memory and please don't do Large sprite with the border just do the size you need for one .

Manually positioned animated sprites. Assuming you are not using unique tiles/animations, you only have to load the animated sprite into memory once for all instances of it.
Mistakes were made.
