How do I create automatic movement?

Get help using Construct 2

I'm trying to do a small cutscene-esque sort of scene, where once the player hits an invisible block I've set they automatically move for a little bit. I want them to walk forward, jump up onto a ledge, and then toss something down the ledge they just jumped upon. Then once they've completed that I want it to go back to normal playing controls. I'm not sure how to make it so they do that automatically with no player input; any advice?

You could do something like that by using the timer behaviour, setting the player to ignore user input and on timer change variables and use "simulate control" actions based on those variables..
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..

@LittleStain Thank you! I'll give it a go. I'm pretty bad at understanding what events to set up etc, so I appreciate the input. :)
