How do I create car wheel smooth traces?

Get help using Construct 2

Hi!

Currently I use a sprite 16x16px with fade behaviour and spawn it at two image points. But I'n not really satisfied with look of such traces - it looks like "stairs" if I use square image or separated if I use a round image...
Is there any other ways to implement it with smooth look?

Current wrong traces:

Maybe pin a Particle object and play about with those settings

The way you're doing it already is how I've always done it in the past... but if you want to make it "smoother" then you can just draw more "traces" so it doesn't end up looking all "gappy".

It can get tricky though, because at higher speeds the gaps are going to be further apart, so tweaking the number of traces to use and how often to draw them can be fun.

Thanks guys, but I can't understand how to spawn trace objects faster than every tick...
