How do I decrease lag before moving along a path

Hey everyone. I just started working with the pathfinding behavior and I noticed there's up to 2 seconds of lag from the time I click on a postion until the player sprite even STARTS to move to the point. Is there a way to make the sprite start to move instantly? Or at least quicker?

Have you consulted the manual about optimising cell sizes, etc?

yep. Tried expanding the cell sizes, no difference. Maybe it's just my system? Does anyone else have this problem?

The pathfinding behaviour takes time to turn and face the correct direction before it starts moving. You can increase the turn speed or set the angle directly to speed it up.

That's great! thank you! i turned rotation off initially, I assumed that would make my sprite just head directly down the path. Now a sped the rotation way up, even with rotation off my sprite move much quicker now. Seems like there should be a way to bypass rotation all together, but this works for now, thanks again!
