How do I Design Game For Tablets

@Lordshiva1948 the problem is that our apps actually do work fine on tablets, but Google Play does not recognize this.

After some digging, it seems our android-manifest does contain

<supports-screens android:anyDensity="true" android:largeScreens="true" android:normalScreens="true" android:resizeable="true" android:smallScreens="true" android:xlargeScreens="true"/>

which seems like it should do the job, however we still get the warning.

I have seen the main pic. I have designed and tested many games with Samsung Tab, Asus Tab, Samsung S5, S4, HTC 1, Sony, I don't get that problem. Export it like Ashley tutorial and you will never go wrong

@Lordshiva1948

Are you talking about this tutorial? https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/73/sup ... reen-sizes

What if I change the layout size to double like 1280 x 1920 and make the game according to that size, is it going to help?

Thanks

Read exactly what Ashley has explained then decide for yourself. One more thing when you using your PC for testing you use Letterbox Scale and then export it with outer scale

I just read it but I think I am still missing the trick here, Is that something to do with wider and taller backgrounds on scale outer please ?
Do you think 640 x 960 layout size is fine and I just have to work on the backgrounds ?

Sorry about that I am just a little confused here.

makes no difference long as you have player has scrollto. you can have any size of layout. Give me little time I might do little demo for you. At this time I don't feel that well.

Just make your layout wider than your window size. Test it on the XDK emulator and see how it looks.

@codah, Thank you I will try it out. By the way the window size was 640 x 960 and layout site was 800 x 1200. Do you think this was the main issue?

Any news about that? I have the same problem ... The game is actually designed for tablets, too ... You can try and see it yourself: http://bit.ly/1wKDiNT
I have Window Size and Layout Size set to 640, 1036 and using Scale Outer (and then set objects' Y to ViewportBottom-?).
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
