How do I disable collision between family members?

Hey guys I was wondering how to disable collision between family members only.
I spawned several objects from the same family next to each other but the as soon as they landed on the platform they did this weird shaking motion when colliding with each other until they finally separated.

I tried applying
EVENT: "Family_A" overlapping with "Family_A"
ACTION: Disable collision

But then this results in ALL of them falling through the floor. How do I implement this properly?

If they are supposed to land on the platform, you need the collision system. What you see is the Platfom plugin dooing 'push out' calculations.

I dont think collision filtering is supported at this moment.

So you have 2,5 options.

1/ Do not spawn objects in a way so that they overlap !

2/ Code youre own Platform with Chipmunk. A plugin by @R0J0hound. It supports collission filtering.

Hey guys thanks for the replies. I found I could do it by addresing each sprites behavior. Thanks for the replies
