I want to disable 'touch' or set 'ignore input' to it while a certain thing is happening, how do I do that?

I usually just toggle it off with a global variable, touch only works while global =1, set it to 0 when the other thing is happening.

Agreed with Plinkie, give the Touch Object a Boolean Instance Variable.

Yup a global variable for a trigger works.

You can ignore input from the keyboard but not from touch because if they are using a tablet that would lock the screen so they could not quit or change windows.
