Hi Guys, first let me say I am new to this but have followed along a couple of tutorials and have done a quick modified version of the beginner tutorial mixed with the animations tutorial.

The issue I'm having is that even though i set the image point on the PlayerAnimations sprite the Bullet doesn't seem to be coming from that point, can you tell me what I'm doing wrong please?

Here is my capx file: dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12815/nazi%20Shooter.capx

Hi,

You don't have enough reputation to post capx

Your code should look like this:

On action (button down/pressed...) -> object (like player) spawn object (like bullet) at layer xxx (1 or "game") (imagepoint X)

ok i see

The origin point of your bullet is the problem.

Put in at the base of your bullet and put an image point correct for all frames of your animation

Thanks a ton, looks like I had missed that each frame has to have that image point in place so i was able to right click and choose apply to entire animation.

Thanks again!

@spyke01

Apply to whole animation
and adjust manually on each frame (if necessary)
