What do you mean steep learning curves?

If you mean game art you can check out Photoshop or Gimp which is free.

depending on the quality of the assets you want to create, you can even use Microsoft Paint.
Then you also have these nice free tools available:
- Paint.net
- inkscape

The choice really depends on your drawing skills.

Thanks Ubivis but I found adobe Flash im already enjoying it but ill keep those programs in mind. What software do you normally use for your game art work ?

None, I do suck in art work ;) Always buying my stuff and maybe do small tweaks (mainly in Gimp)

Hey atleast you know how to use the construt 2 engine Im still trying to learn how it works like I say come from GAME maker and this program works totally different
