How do I... get a laser stream to work

Get help using Construct 2

So I bought this laser pack on the construct 2 website and it's very cool. I'm able to get the bullet stuff to work but how do I Get the single laser steam and multiple steam to work like in the pic below? Thanks everyone

for a laser it depends on how you want it to act.

a constant laser requires fixing the length of the end of it so solids "stop" it.

for a laser "blast" you would show it growing and then shrink it on impact to an object.

which are you thinking?

I would be looking for the second one. A laser "blast" that would get smaller when it hits something but I want it so it starts off as a single shot and as you pic up item upgrades it grows to be like that pic.

@Colludium made this awesome example a few years ago..

toggle enabled the Time Scale to see what it's actually doing.. there's still an issue if your player is moving.. or the object you hit is moving.. (you can activate the Sine movement on the Gun and see what I mean) the laser stays in the place it's spawned.. but you can easily figure something out...

For reasons it didn't open up the event sheet. It just came out looking like code @[email protected]
