How do I get a sprite

Get help using Construct 2

How do I get a sprite to stay in one place, and not move at all. I'm using the auto runner template for a runner game I'm working on, but every time I import the object I want to not move into the background.. it moves along with everything else it moves like the character actually =/ without me actually controlling it here is an example, I just want the running player to feel like it's running past it but never actually past it. Right now it just looks like the sprite is moving along with it.. :(

The fact is that it is staying in the same place at the moment..
Just like the ground that is moving left through bullet behaviour, you should make the object move left..

Your explanation is rather confusing though, the player should feel like it's running past it, but not run past it, is a bit of a contradiction, so if you could explain better what you mean by that it would be great..
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..

Yeah, I was thinking of making it move to the left, how do you do that? Either way to be clearer: You know how let's say when you're driving, walking, riding your bike, or whatever, you look up and the moon seems to always be in the same position? Or like it hasn't really moved? Because it's so far away right? I want to create that same affect in this game. Like the object in the background is so large, but so far away, that so matter how much you run it's always going to be there. My apologizes about being unclear, I really appreciate you helping me out. Thanks

Usually effects like that are achieved with paralax in the layer properties, but because in this example the layers aren't moving I guess you'll have to do it with something like a very slow speed bullet-behaviour, just like the background and foreground are moving..

@Lordshiva1948 you seem pretty experienced, I'm sure you got a few good games on your hand, is there anywhere I can play them? For inspirational purposes! I'd like to see more of what I may be able to accomplish from a fellow c2 developer
