How do I Get the Gobal Variables to update without overlap?

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Mon Aug 04, 2014 2:34 am

Whenever I use a global variable for an update function, i.e. score update, it will update the score, but it overlaps the last number value it held with the new number value on top of it. You can't tell what the number is because it looks like the numbers are stacked on top of each other. Is this just a glitch in the r175b version, or am I missing something? This is the situation I'm encountering even when I follow the "beginner tutorials" to the letter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: updated version number.

http://dropshots.com/UnitDTH/date/2014-08-04/16:32:03 This is the way it looks before the update. http://dropshots.com/UnitDTH/date/2014-08-04/16:32:01 This is what it looks like after it updates the global variables. Sorry I didn't provide a pic last night.

I tried using the img BBC function but it would not show previews of the images. So, just click the urls and hopefully you will see what I'm talking about.

For anyone that is having this same problem: I discovered that it is localized to IE and not another browser.
