How do I get the Y-value of the collision-polygon

Hello everybody,
i'm new here, so I don't know if this question is a bit strange :| .
I'm creating a game with an image as my map. After including my mapimage as an Sprite I surrounded it with a collision-polygon. Now I need the height-value of the map for a special x. Because the height of the sprite is always the same (It's an rectangle :D ) i thought I could use the value of my collision-polygon. Is it possible to do that? I'm experienced with different scriptlanguages too, maybe it is possible to do it this way?
Hopefully you have an idea,

Hi hi. I'm not sure what you are trying to do but the Y value is always where the origin image point is, unless you add more image points and you can work out the Y of them. The size in the properties bar shows the height of the sprite. Maybe you want something more detailed so please explain further.
