How do I get Tilemaps and Shadow Lights working together?

I'm using a tilemap with the shadow casting behavior to create walls. But when I add a light source, shadows are created through the walls. This happens regardless of the light height and height of the tilemap. Am I missing something or are others have the same problem?

Hopefully not too dark to see, but the red square is the light source, brown is the tilemap wall and white is empty space.

Yeah the lights and shadowing do not work as you would think. It's best to create a layer for the light and one layer for your tilemap that will cast shadows and alternatively , another tilemap for non shadow casters.
