How do I hit just 1 enemy? [platformer]

Get help using Construct 2

I've got attacking functioning exactly as I want when facing one enemy, but for some reason when I attack an enemy and there's more than 1 of them, it hits SOME of them, not 1 of them, and not ALL of them. I don't really understand why it's happening that way...

What I want is for it to just hit the ones that are actually being hit...

Here's the capx https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3nUax ... sp=sharing

Sorry if it's messy it's my first time using this program and I'm just messing around really.

All of the groups that are open should be the only ones that effect enemies and attacking.

Controls are arrows for movement, s to jump, and d to attack.

Search forum, tutorials, and manual for instance picking.

Sounds like you need to make sure your "picking" the right instances.
