How do I increase game area or decrease sprites in the game

Get help using Construct 2

I need to have some extra space in my game but I want to keep all my sprites as they are, only smaller so theres more space around them.
Or, increase the game area around the current game somehow (I need to put more things under the current set of sprites)
Is there a way to do this?

Will changing the project size and or layout size work?
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..

When I change layout size it increases the space in the outside margins, doesn't add more space inside.
I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean by project size

Project size is the size of your game onscreen..
select your project in the bar on the right and the project properties will appear on the left.
