How do I invoke download on Android?

Get help using Construct 2

Hi, I have a soundboard app I am working on, each item has 2 buttons, one that plays a sound file and one that invokes download of an mp3 of the file. Works great when I export as html5, but does nothing when I make it into an APK through Intel XDK. Anyone ever run into this problem before? Thanks.

It only works from a browser, since it uses the browser's 'download file' UI. Try running it from Chrome.

Bummer, I accomplished it by opening a browser and directing the user to an html page to download. Thanks for the response.
