How do I keep Audio Playing in the background for music app

Hi,

I have a music app where the music is pausing when the iPhone/ipad "locks" the screen.

How can I keep music playing when the app is open but the iphone/ipad auto locks after a certain amount of time based on how the user has their device setup?

I've tried enabling the "Play in Background" for the Audio object but that does not work. As soon as the phone locks, the audio stops playing.

Might be an iOS limitation, bit I'm not really familiar with that.

I know that it isn't an iOS limitation because I have apps that continue to play music even after the phone locks.

Maybe the "play in background" for the audio object doesn't work as intended?
