How do I limit the amount of attempts Player has.

Get help using Construct 2

Hi all,

Am new to Construct 2 so am struggling a bit. My project involves the Player aiming at a target, have managed all that but am really stuck on how to limit the amount of attempts allowed.

For instance I would like on five unsuccessful tries, to start a new Layout explaining they have failed and a link to Start Again.

Have read and read these Forums and the Instruction Manual and it just isn't sinking in with me how to achieve this.

Would be most grateful if somebody could tell me how to do it !!

Cheers.

set up an integer variable with the value 5, on each miss substract 1 from that variable. If the variable reached the count '0' go to a new layout :)
