How do I make a ball stop?

Hi friends,

I have a ball that doesn't want to stop. It's like the friction is not enough and only 0 to 1 values are available, so I don't know what to do.

I made a code to slow it down but it's so cheap and not always effective. Am I missing something?

I'm trying to change the density and raising the world gravity, but it still goes on and on.

Angular damping
The rate the object slows down over time while spinning, from 0 (no slowdown at all) to 1 (maximum slowdown).

Okay. I have a problem here. :mrgreen:

Both the angular and Linear Damping were 1. But the ball still not settling here. Is this because of the bullet behavior's gravity. why?

Thanks @piuu but this is not what i want. I want it to settle quickly.

The damping should happens bit more quickly. Can anybody help with my file.

You can't mix Physics with Bullet or Solid. Get rid of all solid, bullet behaviours and set everything to physics. Initiate your movement with Apply impulse.
