How do I make a platform sticky

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Tue Dec 08, 2015 12:51 pm

Hi folks, Ive finally gotten around to tinkering with and learning the ropes here. :)

Ive obviously started with the platform tutorial and decided to add a new platform/solid object that alters the players speed as he/she drops onto/runs along it. But being new to how Construct works has left me with a few headaches. My approach (that hasnt worked) is the following. (Sprite 4 is the new platform object)

[ Player Sprite : Is overlapping Sprite 4 ] [ Player : Set Platform Maximum Speed to 5 ]

I hope Ive made this clear and understandable.

Just like to add that RamPackelWobbles assistance has opened up so much more for me as I learn how to use Construct2.
