Hello there! How do I make a point-click-movement (some positions on the ground; not everyplace) as in Machinarium? Can anyone help me with it?

Thanks.

Maybe, I should create a invisible path with triggers? But... how?

Make a invisible mask sprite, if clicked on it, send the player to this coordinates. add path finding and done ;)

It is not a good solution, I think. Need a rail movement, maybe. But I don't know how to make it.

probably using a custom movement.

I did something similar but for a side scroller prototype. Used an invisible sprite as controller for the animated sprite. My movement was more grid like but it would be feasible in the same sort of way. Now, you could define a path so when you click in one section it goes though an already predetermined path. So as previous poster said, using pathfinding.
