Hi, I'm new to Consrtuct 2 and I was wondering if it was possible to make a Torchlight II or Path of Exile type game with it?

Looking forward to meeting the community!

First of all, welcome!

It's possible. First thing first, you need to learn the basics of C2. Check out our Tutorial Section
After you learn the basics, you can start from these tutorials:

Level Up
Random Loot
RPG Drag and Drop Inventory
RPG Scrollable Inventory
Turn Based RPG
RPG Extras

Those links provided the information you need for making a basic feature of a simple rpg game.
You can explore the tutorial section, you can get all you need to create a rpg game.

For example, this additional links will help you start your RPG game:
Health Bar
Enemy AI for Top Down
Animation Management in 8 Direction Games

There's no full one-package RPG Tutorial. It will takes more than 20 pages of tutorial. I hope this helps

jourdan she is right. I totally agree with her. We are here to guide you and not to write full game and give to you. jourdan has given you enough information to create RPG from scratch.
