How do I Make a sprite follow X seconds behind?

Get help using Construct 2

I want to have a sprite follow X seconds behind my main character. (Sprite is where the character was X seconds before) However, I cannot seem to find a way to have an object travel in that path. What I wish to achieve is something like Ekko's ultimate from league of legends. All I require is discover a method of having a sprite follow my 8 direction main character in the exact path it traveled. Thanks for the help if ya know a way ;)

the wait action is not working? store the player position into an array and it will order and run them when the time end.

I did a little sample for you:

You can exchange it with the player rotation and more by add a Y row in the array and updating its row with the variable you want stored.
