How do I make an object move clockwise

Get help using Construct 2

Hello. I actually managed to make an object move at a perfect circle around an object. However, I can't make the needle have the right angle while it's moving in a circle.

Please take a look at my capx and let me know how I can fix this issue.

Hello I have not looked at the capx file as I don't have a lot of time lately. But there are 2 ways I can think of.

1:) use joints to hold the objects together at an image point.
2:) set position to object at image 0 point and rotate at image point 0 of object (needle)

in this case I would make it another way

if your needleSprite and ballSprite is the same size as your circleSprite (with a lot of empty space) you don't have to do anything except rotate it.

btw. your capx only has 3 sprites in it (empty event sheet) - so no clue where you have the problem, but I think a perfect solution

  • System > On start of layout | system > load game from slot "brain"
  • System > On load failed | system > scroll to obj_Forum
