How do I make an object travel towards the mouse?

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Sun Jan 11, 2015 3:33 pm

Hi!

I'm all new to Construct 2. My problem is that I want to have a player moving with the mouse, but I don't want it to be 1:1, more of a "travelling"-thing on the X axis.

Quite specific, I want the movement to replicate that of Winterbells . (ferryhalim . com /orisinal/ g3 /bells .htm)

How do I achieve this in Construct 2?

Thanks!

@brille
Right now u dun have enough rep to Post a Plain Text url. If ur trying to post a .capx Upload it. If Url... Try adding spaces between the "/"s and post the URL

Edit: Tried googling it.. Theres like 5 Winterbells. Dunno which one to look for? lolz

Thanks for the example. It's almost what I'm looking for, though I want the blue sprite to simply move towards where the mouse is, but not setting it's position to be there. So it's not a 1:1 follow I seek, more of a "travel towards mouse.X".

Thanks for helping :)

Exactly. I also tried this, but the deceleration destroys it :(

Well it's not that it "destroys" it, but I just mean that I don't know how to fix the deceleration to get the movement smooth
