How do I make balls that bounce and roll

They just fall through the tiles. Even though they have solid modifier.

If I give them physics modifier with some settings, the balls just fall down. I tried also giving physics modifier to my character to move the balls but they don't seem to be moving at all. They're just static.

Give the ball the physics behavior and then give the physics behavior to the wall as well, but make sure they are "immovable"

I did that. But my character can barely push the ball.

Decreasing friction on should make it easier to move.

You can also use events to apply a force or impulse to the ball when it comes in contact with the player.

How would I go applying force? I tired looking around google and forums for some ideas, but seems like I couldn't come up on anything that could help me to that specific task...
