How do I Make My character stick to where it collides?

Get help using Construct 2

I want my character to move, really fast to the touch point and if it collides with a wall or platform, it sticks to it.

I would go along with something like this;
When the player is on collision with (oject) | disable movement controls (set platform = disabled etc.)

You might also want to check out the pin behavior.

There's a pin behavior. You can set some sort of condition (colliding) and then pin the player to the desired object, and then create another condition, when fulfilled, unpin the player.

Have you considered looking at any tutorials? The pin behavior is a rather simple behavior to use.

I can't be the only new user of C2 who's been following and completing a different tutorial every week to learn the ins and outs.

your not i view tutorials everyday, not even because i need them. but because I may need them in the future, it also gives me more options.

Use the Bullet behavior and Pin beahvior. On collision with object disable Bullet then simply pin to object position and angle. Pretty easy to do....
