How do I make the character move on ceiling

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Sat May 31, 2014 3:11 am

I'm making a stealth platformer game. The progress is really good thanks to Construct. But I got stuck on the implementation of a character skill to let him move on the ceiling of a room, like a ninja or spider-man. I'm thinking about something like "reverse-platform" but do not know where to begin. Any advice is really appreciated :)

Are you using the platform behavior to move your character? I've made a commented capx that shows a basic ceilWalk behavior:

Please tell me if you have any more questions!

Awesome. This is what I'm looking for. I was trying to add second transparent solid under the ceiling. But your solution is much much better. Thank you very much Valerien.

I did this ceiling walk with my game...

I'll check out these capx files too I like learning new ways. Mine was a lot of trial and error...

Thanks
